Based on artifacts from the Southern Song Dynasty, this set features the iconic narrow-sleeved Beizi 背子 (long jacket), a rare treat in the hanfu industry.

Narrow sleeve jackets weren't popular until the later Southern Song, wide sleeve Beizi were favored during the Northern Song and is what we typically see in the hanfu market.

Features an embroidered collar trim going down the complete length of the jacket, delicate peach blossoms in bunches and petals float gracefully through the design. Made from a light and breezy material, making this the perfect layering top for any Song Dynasty outfit! 

Pair with the matching light peach Baidiequn 百迭裙 (hundred pleat skirt), a common pleated skirt for women of all classes. Skirt has a slight iridescent sheen to it, perfect for bringing radiance to the ensemble. 

Note that the skirt is a bit sheer, petticoat is recommended ~

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the product photos. Please measure in centimeters.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
